Default A GUIDE TO DREAM HERBS !

A Guide to Dream Herbs -
    for Vivid and Lucid Dreams

Dream herbs are used by many people to induce incredibly vivid and lucid dreams, safely and naturally. I have discovered a number of useful herbs like Calea Zacatechichi, Silene Capensis and African Dream Root, which have been used by Shamans for millenia. They can be smoked, swallowed as capsules, or drunk as tea before bed to induce meaningful and spectacularly realistic dreams. In many instances this can help you to achieve lucidity faster too.

Please note that occasionally, some substances are banned in certain countries or states. If in doubt, check your local laws before purchasing these herbs. As with any supplement, you should consult your doctor before taking any such herbs in case of allergic reaction. You must be over 18 in order to purchase these supplements online.

    Calea Zacatechichi

Calea ZacatechichiCalea Zacatechichi (also known as The Dream Herb, Calea Z, or Leaf of God) is a plant used by the Chontal Indians of Mexico to obtain divinatory messages. Traditionally the plant was drank as a tea while a cigarette was smoked before bed, bringing relaxation and fluidity to mind and body. You can buy Calea Z capsules to usher in an easy sleep in which you will find the gates to the dreamscape gently opened.

    Silene Capensis

Silene CapensisKnown as African Dream Root, Silene Capensis is reportedly stronger than the better known Calea Zacatechichi, often referred to as THE Dream Herb. However, for some reason it is less known. Silene Capensis has been used for centuries by a culture who believes its ancestors are contacted through vivid dreams, so they cultivate and seek out plants that enhance vivid dreaming

    Wild Lettuce

The Hopi believe that vivid dream states contain more insights about our reality than the conscious waking state. Wild Lettuce (aka lettuce opium) enhances dream vividness when smoked prior to sleep.

    Valerian Root

As a calming herb, Valerian Root is extremely effective. Its reputation as a sleep aid is well known and when mixed in equal parts as with Calamus Root as a tea, it makes the perfect combination for lucid dreaming.

    Calamus Root

A favorite of Native American tribes for pain and fatigue, Calamus Root is said to enable you to "travel great distances without touching the ground". Smaller doses have a stimulating effect, while larger doses produce a visionary experience.

    African Dream Herb

These giant seeds induce powerful and vivid dreams when mixed in a pipe with tobacco or your favorite dream herb. The natives believe it creates a connection to deceased ancestors who bring sacred messages in dreams

    Yohimbine

Large doses of Yohimbine counteract male impotence, however a small dose can be a most powerful lucid dreaming supplement. Take less than 1mg with Galantamine just before entering REM sleep

Calea Zacatechichi (aka The Dream Herb) is often taken to induce very meaningful dreams and lucid dreams.

This herb is legal is most places and has been used by the Chontal Medicine Men of Mexico for thousands of years to help them speak to the spirits via their dreams. It's also known as Calea Z, the Leaf of God and Bitter Grass.

My experiments with Calea Z generally produce very visually intense and meaningful dreams - like great movies. Occasionally it produces lucid dreams too, mostly likely, I feel, because of the increased dream intensity. However lucid or not, they are simply epic dreams that will shake your world up a bit

Extracts of this Bitter Grass herb have been scientifically demonstrated to increase reaction times and dream recall. I believe it is a safe and reliable natural herb for beginner dream explorers looking for a way to have more vivid dreams on cue.

This article looks at the three main ways to consume Calea Zacatechichi and what effect it has on the mind and body. A good source of the dream herb is in capsule

    Effects of Silene Capensis

Scientists say that the dream inducing ingredient in Silene Capensis is contained within the roots. While this dream herb has barely any effect on waking consciousness, the effects within the dream state are profound - and that includes producing lucid dreams.

While sleeping, your dreams will become exceptionally colorful, and you will remember them vividly on awakening. Shamans use Silene Capensis to access the Dreamtime and communicate with lost ancestors. If you focus on a question you want answered first, the answer will come to you in your dreams.
