I am planning a supplementation to help with the brain neurotransmitters recovery. What do you think about this:
5-HTP: 260-260-0
L-Tyrosine: 1500-1500-0
Melatonin: 0-0-5 (or L-Tryptophan: 0-0-200 [which should I pick? or maybe I should combine?])
St. Johns Wort: 0-0-360
Omega 3-6-9: 0-1000-0
Vitamin and mineral complex: 0-500-0
Should I get more/less of something? Should I add something else?

Why using L-tryptophan if you already use 5-htp which is one step forward? I'd say one or the other.
I'd add:
- Vit B complex, cause Bs vitamins are cofactor in neurotransmitters synthesis
- Vit C high dosage (say 1g) cause it's a strong anti-oxidant and helps the body to clean up
- acetyl-l-carnitine, cause it's neuroprotective
Don't really see the need for St. John's wort, unless you feel depressed, but anyway you are already taking stuff that should help your mood.

you can load up on precursors as much as you want. (as in, it won't help your physical self. dont overdose though. hehe.) the fact is we know so much about biochemistry yet we know so little. we as in the human race.
we don't know exactly how to "revitalize" neurotransmitter neuron cell receptors and transporters back to full "efficiency" after you've abused them with drugs. we have things to play around in the playground that's set out for us, but we have no understanding as to how the playground works. we can run down a slide, we can climb back up a slide, but when it caves in and slopes and refuses to function, we're stuck. and all the other kids (neurotransmitters) stand waiting in line for a slide (receptor) that doesnt work. now if the slide were simply cracked, we could patch it up. unfortunately our biological nature aint that simple :P
hope that analogy sheds an overcast of despair over your hopes of neurotransmitter manufacturing. lol. :D

Piracetam + Choline Citrate!
You missed the biggest brain recovery supplement. (However, any -acetam will do)
Nootropics like piracetam are actually perscribed for brain damage recovery due to alcohol brain damage (or drug use :-))
Pretty cheap too. I posted some sources in the nootropics thread.
EDIT: Ditch the St. Johns Wort it can act as an SSRI. (No more rolling for you).

I just started taking piracetam today, waiting for my choline to come. Do you have any sources that hint at brain damage recovery? I don't feel dumber/slower persay, but I feel like I'm permanently more anxious/paranoid than normally for a few months now after doing mephedrone/methylone 4 times.

From my personal experience & research, I would firstly just emphasise what is pretty obvious to most of us but not always so easy to do when you are feeling pretty low. That is how much of a massive difference a good walk in the Fresh air does for ones Health in all respects. The amount of times when on some form of a come down I have really had to push myself to take my best buddy Patch for a walk, only to find after the first ten minutes or so I start to really perk up & by the time we get back after a brisk walk of five or six miles I always feel 100% better & more. It is known that positive psychological thinking results in better physiological health (and vice versa) .
On top of that & in the same category (It is the last thing you feel like doing , but when you do you feel so much better) is practising some form of meditation. I practice a mindfulness technique combined with rhythmic breathing when walking & a still meditation based on deep breathing (which in itself provides increased oxygen to the brain which helps to bring back a healthy balance of neuro transmitters. Also some Yoga asnas like the shoulderstand help to stimulate the fhyroid gland & other essential organs of the endocrine system which has a tremendous boost on good brain function. [I] guess it's like most of us know, our best ally (and our worst) is our own body & mind & how we apply them.
In saying that I have always been keen on trying out all manner of supplements for that extra edge & would recommend taking Ginseng (it should be taken on a regular basis with periods of abstinence by younger folk) also Ashwagandha (Ayervedic Ginseng), Defiantly Omega 3 oil , & most recomended recently discovered are Tribulus Terrestris & Avena Sattiva (extract of Oats), the last two are extremely:) effective for helping one to regain a healthy balance of Neuro transmitters & hormones.
Remember the age old advice of Moderation in all things , (variety is the spice of life), remember the miraculous ability of your own body & mind when given the chance.http://www.legalhighsforum.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
Love to all , Stay strong, stay free, One for all & all for one.
