Anyone else from the 'States feel a bit wary about this payment method? They have to take your SSN in order for you to activate the card.
I hope this is the right place. I really had no idea where to put this.

you know, I never really thought about it, but I haven't ever had a problem using it. however, I usually don't order from places like "legaldrugfreaks" or "mephedrone for the masses" with the card. Crap now I'm paranoid.

Can someone confirm that it is possible to activate the card with an invalid SSN?
I'm feeling a bit paranoid about the idea although I'm toying around with the thought of buying one.

I dont think they'll let you. Their not going to give you shit on a miaow order anyway. If your really paranoid get those prepaid visa/mastercard giftcards from walmart or gas stations

GD is one of the only accepted payment methods one of my sources accepts.
I am used to third party payment processors.
WU is another method, but I'm honestly a bit clueless about how to go that route.

You have to send them a water/utilities/phone bill via fax to confirm your name and address. Unless you go dumpster diving your not going to fake it

I had one before when I was underage and all of that madness was not necessary. But the SSN was for sure.

So, how was this resolved Ash? If you won't post, PM me I'm curious. Decided not to go to these lengths to protect myself, now I'm thinking I probably should have.

uh, trust me, the penalties for identity theft or obtaining credit/debit instruments with a false name are probably worse than the risk of purchasing quasi-legal products on-line. Mandatory 24 months fed time, plus 3-5 years supervised release afterwards.. I speak from experience, not a very good idea (as I leave to go pee in a cup)....:(
Just trying to help, the feds suck.

Decided not to go to these lengths to protect myself, now I'm thinking I probably should have.I just decided not to use that vendor in favor of a more reputable one who had better payment methods. Might have saved me some cash, too.

Eek! I wasn't intending on doing such a thing, but thanks for the heads up. Sorry to hear that, dude. :(
