Hey guyz and slutz

Just wanna let you know that this red ring of death problem that can occur on the 360 is deep shit.. I have bought the RROD repair kit made by team xcuter and it didnt work.. surprise surprise...

Since my 360 is my entertainment at home this really sucks because I cant play games and use it to watch movies...

BUT I have just made a deal with a guy who has his 360 for sale with ixtreme 1.6 firmware on it.. for 140 GPB I am getting it brought to my door in less then 2 hours.. Damn I have missed playing 360..

I hope you 360 gamers can understand my happinezzzz =)

Yeah I get u. I turn mine off every hour to let it cool and I put it in the most airy place possible when using it. Fingers Crossed it wont happen!

I have had a long history of malfunctioning xbox 360

I had one but it RRoD.
bought a refurb'd one at gamestop
5 modded xbox 360 laters I finally got one that worked for more then a week.

about two weeks ago its starting to fail.

I would buy a PS3 if someone figured out how to hack it. I hate paying for my games.

Lol thats just nuts! I have had my modified 360 for almost a year withouth none problems at all. I have experienced it freeze max. 2-3 times but that is the only problem I have ever had :)

But if the problem is heat, I might wanne drill some holes and make it possible to get more airflow inside the xbox??

Oh and another thing. My new 360 works great.. Plays all my downloaded games and has hdmi in it.. I'm happy again =)

I think so, I remember reading it somewhere. Thats why they sell all those cooling fans that u can bolt on, think some guy even designed a new case for it with better vents etc and sold quite a few.

its not heat its the drive keep failing.

so I've had 5 replacements
2 had the dreaded E74 error
1 didnt turn on
2 RRoD'd 2-3 weeks after getting it

don't trust gamestop.
