Would love some help so if any previous Moderators on other forums would like to help out let me know!
Or perhaps nominate a member :)
Like I told you in a PM on champs, I'm familiar with running my own VB forum, so I'd be glad to help out. Since I'm familiar with navigating around the control panels and everything.
If you want to give me admin option at all, I could work on trying to make a template with similar colors/layout to the champ forum. Because I know that can be a pain in the ass to go through all the colors and stuff.
And I could also add a chatbox and arcade, but i'd need ftp info for that.
And it looks like you've got some modifying to do with settings and stuff, seeing as how I can't even upload a custom avvy, haha.
And get rid of that annoying icon.gif that is at the top of every post.

There's no custom avatar option
You've gotta go to usergroups > edit registered users > select yes for "can upload custom avatars"

I wouldn't mind having a go if I fit the bill. Been visiting champs edit and various others for years, though I lurk more than post. Would like to think I'd be able to moderate things fairly and it would keep me nice and active....

I have never been a mod but would be wiling to help out if you need it. I think I am normally level headed and fair about things. I am on the net a lot. My spelling and grammar is lacking at times, but I try. Being on the other side of the world from Champs I was on when most of the mods were sleeping and would like to think I occasionally headed off a potential problem. Anyway I am available if I can be of use.

All the interest is great, put your names down or nominate someone else and I will keep an eye on who's helpful in the coming weeks, then talk to the other mods and run a vote or something :)

I would love to moderate. I was a moderator on a certain source board that got flamed for a buncha lies. You may of heard of it. Research-chemicals.org. Anyways I have some experience and I got put MANY MANY hours into viewing the on goings of the board. If you don't pick me I won't be upset whatever you feel is best for the board I will support.

I would have loved to be a mod on a forum such as this, especially last year when I took a year out from work but I am afraid I dont have time to doing anything like that these days now I am back at work. :(

I'll throw in my hat too, I'm a professional programmer, modded a few illicit communities in my time, I do chemistry in my spare time, and I'm quite knowledgeable about the JWH series and other false canabinoids..
Plus, I spend enough time in court to be a lawyer... tho I'm mostly a lurker aswell, I love to share my knowledge.

i was a mod on champlegals and have been a mod on other sites, i am pretty stern but fair with rules.
although i'm not admin on here so i can't make up the rules, but imo the rules should be:
no links to illegals at all
blank out RC supplier names partially
no selling or giving away illegals(piperazines are now illegal too) or unknown RCs
no personal attacks
no racism or homophobic comments whatsoever
stay on topic in the right sections
no flaming
no trolling
no spamming
no scammers (at least say 20 posts before u can sell to build up reputation).
no flooding with pointless points
no name calling when arguing, discuss things in an appropriate manor like u would at work.
no typing IN ALL CAPS LIKE THAT, is considered shouting.
no typing in all weird uppercase and lowercase alternating writing lIkE tHiS, as it's fucking annoying and hard to read.
try use paragraphs, as is also hard to read.
can't think of anything alse i missed.

yeah i saw ppl spamming on here already, but theres some error on my mod account as i can only give infractions and see the mod panel.
but i can't edit/delete/move/merge a post and i can't ban a user.
will have to give any potential spammers the highest infractions for now(10 day warning), as i can't do anything better for now. :mad:

I was a senior mod over at Bluelight for over a year and a mod over 2 forums for 2. Got tired of the server downtime and I have a lot of time on my hands due to the type of job I work. I am in the US and am a 28/m. I was a nice mod but kept things running at a smooth rate.
Anyways just let me know if you need any help as I'm good with v.bulletin and whatnot.

I've offered to volunteer in the past, but Neo and the current (albeit mostly inactive) mods seem to do just fine on their own. This forum isn't terribly busy anyways.

Aside from the fact that I've been "dead" the past month or two, I would like to give this a shot.
As for my reasoning; I've modded several phpBB forums (mostly inactive, but experience none the less), one VB forum (a now defunct WCIII hacking forum), try to educate my self on every chemical I can (legal or not), and I ̶s̶m̶o̶k̶e̶ ̶a̶ ̶l̶o̶t̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶w̶e̶e̶d̶ can take a joke.

If it isn't apparent yet, I really want to be a mod. I could help clean up the ridicules amount of spam, not to mention I have some ideas to make the forum significantly more organized. Neo, it would also be good if I could get a contact email for you, as it can be hard to get a hold of you just with communications (the lack of private messaging is a pain for that reason).

I know that I haven't been on here as long as others, nor have I posted as much, but I wouldn't mind being a mod. We def have to do something about the spammers and liven up the forums a bit. Maybe put some restrictions on members. IE- if they haven't posted in more than a year, they auto-delete. It will clean up the members list and make it more active and current. Probationary period for new members(to easily spot spammers)?

The forum is growing. I think if more of the sections were member only, we would see a lot more posters.
