Baclofen

Alright folks!

I've been scripted baclofen for spinal/pain reasons and I wondered if anyone might know if this stuff has any serious contraindications when mixed with other substances-the 2 I'm most interested in would be mephedrone and kratom.

Since its ok to take codeine and tramadol with this stuff I imagine kratom would be ok but I don't know ....... and I'm not into guesswork with this sort of thing.

I have had a google of this but didn't find anything informative enough so I'm hoping one of you clever chemistry folk out there might know!

I'd have to say no - they have a 12 hour half life too so if you take you take too much at once its a long wait till back to baseline.

They do give a really good kip tho so can be useful :)

I asked my GP for some to help me get off GBL, he point blank refused saying Baclofen has no proven help in addiction therapy (Bastard soon got off his arse when i was admitted to hospital with crippling withdrawl symptoms!)
Didn't realise it was pain killer too.

But aren't baclofen used for helping with alcohol dependancy??? I thought they were. I can see why too. I'm extremely sensitive to all sorts so a 10mg pill gives me a really warm relaxed feeling-similar to a large vodka.

Back to you though..........seems your doc didn't take you seriously enough.....a new one may be in order?Thats terrible 'care'.Sounds like you had a horrible time of it-are you fine now? I do hope so!

Yeah they can be scripted for pain as they relax the muscles so if you have muscles in spasm pressing onto nerve endings they can be really helpful.

I enjoy Baclofen and find it quite recreational in doses of 50mg-100mg, similar to Pregabalin/Phenibut.

I get euphoria, talkativeness, body high etc. :D
