I've heard about these on Erowid. This fruit alters taste perception and makes sour foods taste sweet. Kinda like if you smoke and then try to taste something, it will taste differently. That's why many cooks and chefs refrain from smoking--otherwise, how they taste their food does not mean their customers will taste the same! SWIM smoked a bong one day and had a sip of coffee immediately thereafter and to his surprise noticed that the coffee tasted of CELERY!

Going to go out into the middle of the countryside with some miracle berries and a a nice load of cactus - should be a fun trip!

I've had the fortune to try 1 berry which was available in indevidually wrapped samples available for $1 at a 'science' store en-route to my work. saw the sign, had to try it...

made black coffee with no sugar taste quite nice, and I've always taken mine extra extra with 6-10 sugars.

over summer i did get some cactus and took 50g dose after meph and ketamine. But i didnt have any miracle berries, though. Just boiled with water for hours and hours and ate and chased down the stodgy jam like liquid.

was easy enough to eat bvut still horrid, still no one tried these miracle berries with cactii?
