usually more into the heavier end of the musical spectrum. i.e.
Mastodon
Carcass
Prong
Suicidal Tendencies
but lately I'm listening more and more to Friendly Fires.

Iron Maiden is my favourite band, though the trance scene has drawn me into it recently. Listening to some pretty wicked beats, and trying to get a copy of Cubase 5 to make my own. :D
Blah Cubase, I hate it! Have you see this http://www.reaper.fm/. Seems to do everything Cubase can, and it's basically free. Loads of people seem to like it, but I havent tried it myself. I'm a Reason user :D

Haha, I heard Necro - Dead Body Disposal... horrified me and made me giggle at the same time. :p
One of my mates listens to ICP, Twisted, Boondox and the likes. I'm not much into rap and hip-hop myself, but I can tolerate it because they sometimes have pretty fat beats and interesting wordplay.

I thought Exhorder were the cloest thing to early CBH/VDOP era pantera, but they dont exist anyway anymore, just a couple of old cds. In fact it sounded to me like pantera heard exhorder and thought "hmmmmmmmmm lets do it this way!" right down to the mid cut out guitar tone! Shocking like haha
Anyway ive been listening to morbid angel - where the slime lives
for any metal heads on this board have had a couple of projects/bands on the go myself over the years
www.myspace.com/vulselllum (old school death metal/grind/thrash, studio recordings)
www.myspace.com/apartingshot (more modern grindy stuff ie red chord etc, recording is straight from a rehersal so not as tight as i would like)
www.myspace.com/selfmademan (more classic type metal with a bit of thrash, bit cheesey in places this was my first band though, more studio recordings on this one)
and a real rough project
http://www.bebo.com/fatalpeck
just literally recorded a couple of guitar tracks through my pc interface and added a basic backing beat via drum programming. Planning to mould it into a proper band in a while though, in the process of trying to get people up for it now.
ive put a few of these links up before on f****** but not on this forum i dont think

That's some good stuff there man, fair play, you've got some talent. I particularly like the stuff on your bebo account and Self Made Man, I'm not too keen on death metal vocals. Couldn't get the first link to work.
The Secret/Mystery of the 13 Crystal Skulls
A mystic compilation album from some of the best psytrance producers in the scene. Really gets you in the 'trance' mood.
