Thinking about coming over to Cornwall next July. (Probably only for a week or 2 though :( thanks to my job.) It's going to be my first time in the UK though, so i'd really like to see a few places down there to take some pictures and possibly visit landmarks, etc... (Im guessing allot of ppl from the UK are wondering why the fuck I'd want to vacation there :p ) But as everyone knows, it is a beautiful place with lots of history, and that's really for me. We have some nice spots here in Canada, but NOTHING that even comes close to anything in... Europe even really...
I got the idea of Cornwall from a friend at work that just recently moved here from Scotland to work in the oil patch. He said he used to visit family in the area and go fishing there and said it was breathtaking. I've been looking at pics and he was right, it looks more amazing than anything I've ever seen...
My point/question is...
Anyone have any suggestions of some other things I could expierience during my first trip? I'm looking at some other options, but I'm not sure what I can fit into a few weeks so I may need to stay away from big cities except for when I want to visit shops or restaraunts. Which are also other areas I could use some suggestions in (I hear u guys have some tasty food and ice cream there heh... Oh and of course the cider ;) )

I'm looking around on the web still but most of the info is presented in that stupid "vacation destination" fashion, when I'm looking for more of an inside scoop on what allot of people miss when they visit. I know we're not really much different but i'm one of those people that really loves culture and I like to just "take it all in" while I take lots of pictures, and I thought here would be a good place to get some info to help me plan my trip.
