where are you at? who has free hosting?

anywho, i've been spinning house, hard techno, glitch, and minimal for about 6 years

what are you up on lately? I'm trying to get back into drum and bass but from what i'm hearing, it's all very commercial now. A good friend of mine has made some really 'big' records, being that three of his tracks are on dieselboy's new CD and has stuff out on freak, tech itch and the like. But i really like housey drum and bass, like old hospital stuff

and also, what do you spin?

I wanna get into the scene but haven't got a clue where to start setup-wise, or who to get in touch with. I'm looking into getting Cubase, but does anybody have some better suggestions for a laptop studio? VSTs and the like, I need that stuff too. So much money to spend for such lovely toys. :(
