If I were to make a expierence database with product ratings and average prices would you guys use it? It would clear up a lot of confusion and keep useless threads out of legal drug forums.

Is there already something like this because I have been unable to find anything like my idea on the web.

the only problem I see is that if it were wildly successful, there'd be too much info about supposedly "legal" highs. Like salvia, in the states, too much info becomes available, then things become illegal. once substance use becomes an informed decision rather than a moral decision, then things may change.

The main thing is that you don't want every curious 15 year old in the world be able to access such a site.

Unless you're talking like some kind of legalhighsforum wiki that people HERE can access.

Good idea, just afraid of the consequences, there's too many irresponsible people that can't help but ruin it for the others.

(kinda a weird form of isolationism or something, huh.) Info needs to be out there, but not everyone should be able fuck it up for others. or something...

I had something very similar in the works but stopped building it for the very reasons weaselknot described above.

It will attract the wrong attention.

Hmm I didn't think about that. The only way around that problem which I can think of is an invitation system but then it would defeat the purpose of having info available to people.

alright. Idea is dead.

To be honest I like the idea because thats why we're all here,(info) but at the same time I also understand the concerns of drug information being too freely accessed... Thats what you call being stuck between a rock and a hard place...:D

Looked good on the drawing board, huh? ;-)

I'm of the opinion that someone motivated anough to really dig in and seach for solid info is going to do just that- put a little effort into their learning.

Probably not a good idea to make it easy for the weenies (and bored housemoms!) to pull it all up in an instant, hit "print", and run off to the nearest school, D.A.R.E meeting, or *gasp!* the media.

A private database available to members *might* be cool though...

Better to err on the side of caution and keep things on the down-low me thinks.

yeah. I'm not even thinking about this anymore. Sounded good for the first 5 minutes then realized there are more bad things about it then good.
