Anyone tried Promethazine?

Hi All !

Has anyone tried promethazine (phenergan)?
It's an antihistamine used for travel sickness,allergic reactions,insomnia and it has anti-anxiety properties.(sometimes used as a pre-med before operations)

I have tried it many times and found it really usefull for all sorts of things,especially insomnia and anxiety.

Also it has recreational value......I found out.

You can buy it over the counter in your local pharmacy.

So have any of you lovely people tried it ?
And what did you think of it? :p

Use it as a sleep aid sometimes, and as an anti-emetic for opiates. It's supposed to potentiate opiates too.

Never tried it on it;s own in significant amounts though. Don't anti-histamines act like deliriants in high doses?

Hi sleepy, promethazine definatly have deleriant qualities,I took 75mg after being awake for 2 days and kept talking to my girlfriend and calling her dad,even tho she is far better looking than my dad lol.
Also I kept talking to her when she was standing in my room only to discover that she was in the bathroom all along.Then the real her walked through her self to come and join me on my bed. It was well weird with a slightly creepy edge to it.

oh And it makes breathing difficult if you do far too much,so be careful.
but if taken at the reccomended dose of 25-50mg for insomnia it can be a very peaceful experience.
