How do you call these pipes in English actually? Aren't these the ones used by medical marijuana patients?

Good find FriendlyToker. I used to use something very similar.
One tip I would like to add though, is to purchase shrink wrap tubing with a slightly larger diameter than the glass tube itself. Cut the shrink wrap about 2inches long and slip it over the part of the pipe where your lips and fingers would contact the glass. This would serve as an isulation to protect your fingers and lip from getting burnt when you take a good pull...:D
The shrink wrap will shrink tight around the glass tube after you apply heat to it...;)

They are referred to as "one-hitters", so I've read. And maybe it looks like a crack pipe, but that simplicity and efficiency of it - and the fact that if you take such a pipe filled with yourself then you can smoke everywhere, and dose as much as you want - makes it feel... sexy to me. They are probably being used by medical marijuana users because it's way easier to administer the right dose. Any information about it? I'd appreciate it, as I am trying to find but am failing.
