I dont think cetrizine is much of a sedative tbh and cetrizine could be dangerous in anything over a couple of pills. Its in hayfever tablets right?

Cetirizine is very similar in pharmacology compared to other antihistamines such as diphenhydramine. It is however rarely used recreationally. I recommend keeping the Cetirizine for legit use, and buy a pack of sleep aid or antihistamnes if you're into experimenting with antichlorinergics.

The only active ingredient on label should read diphenhydramine hydrochloride.

90mg ingested, didn't work the way I wanted it to work. No sedation, sleepless night, even though 50mg of melatonin was ingested as well. Thanks for responses - I know about diphenhydramine being used as a sedative, but had none at that time.
Thank you again. :)

Sometimes if you take less meletoin it works better, somthing about if there is to much in one type of reseptor it gets kicked out into other reseptors and keeps you awake

Have you got the 3mg pills ? If so try just taking a quarter of one 0.75 mg next time (ie tonight), it might work :)

Bit late now I know but for future reference Cetirizine won't make you drowsy it's only first generation antihistamines such as diphenhydramine that make you very drowsy in high doses.

Quote from Wiki

Cetirizine crosses the blood-brain barrier only slightly, eliminating the sedative side-effect common with older antihistamines; however it still causes mild drowsiness.
