Blueberry
Origin: Holland
Look:Like no blueberry ive seen before. This was completley white in a thick layering of almost fake looking crystals. This was bought from either Smoky's or The Rookies in Amsterdam, so it should be natural resin. This could of been a stunt double for a cauliflower!
Taste/Smell:Vague weed smell and taste, mostly just a harsh smoke due to the resin.
Effect: Strong bake effect, ie couch lock, tired eyes, hard to do things etc a bit like Widow.
Overall: Dissapointing. Was quite pricey and i was amazed when i first saw it, but it didnt quite deliver. Everything about this weed just seemed as if it has been sacrificied for the sheer amount of THC, which produced a couch-look and slightly trippy high. Anti-social.
5/10

INFO:
1st prize "High Times Cup" 2000
3rd prize "High Times Cup" 2001

Our Original Blueberry is a mostly Indica (80% Indica, 20% Sativa) strain that dates to the late 1970s. A large producer under optimum conditions. A dense and stout plant with red, purple and finally blue hues, that usually cure to a lavender blue.

The finished product has a very fruity aroma and taste of blueberry. It produces a notable and pleasantly euphoric high of the highest quality and is very long-lasting. Medium to large calyxes.

THC: 19.5%
CBD: < 0.1%
Flowering Period: 8 - 10 weeks
Harvest Time Outdoor: 2nd - 3rd week of October

Citral
Origin: Holland
Look: Like extremely Dense Orange Bud, small, rock solid.
Taste/smell:Again very fruity, but this had a hint of something else, which made it smell strange, but still great.
Effect: Nice chilled weed for when you need a break from harder hitting stuff, very smooth and quite cheap aswell.
Overall: Very nice. Reminded me a little bit of Northern Lights in effect at times and at others a nice orange bud. Prefer other fruity strains but still a great smoke.
7.5/10

INFO:
Genetics for this strain come from the Hindu Kush mountain region near the village district of Chitral. Citral produces a mellow herbal taste, very good yield and hard buds. For larger yeilds, grow relatively tall before changing the photo period. The aroma from the buds is fresh, almost like fabric softener. The buzz is an interesting cerebral experience despite its indica heritage.

Type: indoor
Height: short - mostly indica
Stoned or high?: stoned - indica body buzz
THC level: strong 15-20%
Flowering Period: 8-9 weeks
Yield: 450(g/m²)
Harvest Month: September
Grow Difficulty: Experienced

Crystal -
Northern Lights x White Widow
Origin: Holland
Look: Very nice, bright green, and very dense buds(rock like!), nice crystal coverage.
Smell/Taste: Strong but not fruity at all, smelled slightly strange. Tasted like a strong haze.
Effect: It had me and champ tripping away in a bar, and it wasn't good at all! paranoia enducing! Crazy strength but not an enjoyable high at all. Only thing i didn't like from the dam.
Overall: Horribly strong, didnt enjoy. If you want to get as baked as possible get some of this, if you want to enjoy your smoke, don't!
-80/10

INFO:
High Life Cup winner 2002, Crystal seeds are White Widow crossed with Northern Lights. They produce a short bushy plant with big, sticky buds covered in crystals. Crystal is a high yielder and is very high in THC. Easier to grow than White Widow. Buds have a heavy kerosene like aroma and produce smoke with a kick.

Jack Herer -
Northern Lights x Skunk X haze (apparently..)
Origin: Holland this time, canada last
Look: Thick but "bouncy" buds, some orange hairs.
Smell/Taste: Nice but nothing special, quite strong smelling.
Effetcs: Takes 5 mins then suddenly hits you, quite a fair bit trippy/light headed but wears off quickly. Good if you just want to be completley fucked for a short period!
Overall: First time i had this it didn't quite live up to the hype. None the less a great all round smoke, if a bit short lasting. Great for the decent price it was.
8/10

INFO:
Jack Herer is a multiple hybrid of Northern Light, Skunk and Haze. which delivers a strong up buzz. This variety produces so much resin even the branches glisten with glands. Jack Herer has a very unique fresh flavour and packs a strong up buzz. Finishes earlier than original Jack of a few years ago. One of our favourites.

Indoor / Outdoor: Best suitable for indoor growing
Plant Type:
Mostly Sativa
Plant Height: Tall
Stoned or High: Sativa High; Cerebral Buzz
THC Level: Strong 15-20%
Flowering Weeks: 9-11
Yield: 350-450 (Dried grams/m2 in a Sea of Green)
Harvest Month: 10
Grow Difficulty: Moderate

Bubblegum -
Origin: Holland
Look: great, well cured buds/ Mostly green
Taste/Smell::One of the best in this field! Some of the stinkiest stuff in ages for me. Completley stinks out everywhere it goes.
Effect:
Very "high." No heavy eyes or trippyness, just a strong but smooth, straightforward high.
Overall: Loved this bubblegum. Unique and very nice taste and smell. The high is everything it should be too! Bit more pricey for this but worth it.
9/10

INFO:
Bubble Gum is a medium tall, usually not too branchy (sometimes stretchy) plant, producing compact, crystal covered buds. Originally the Bubble Gum was developed by growers in Indiana, USA. From there the genetics moved to New England and eventually Holland. It took many generations to finally produce this stable Bubble Gum, with the characteristic, sweet smell (truly resembling a typical bubble gum taste) and euphoric high; the original trademarks of this famous strain.

Genetics: Bubble Gum
Variety: Indica/Sativa
Type: Stabilised Hybrid
Harvest Date: October
Flowering Period: 8-9 weeks
Characteristics: Bubble Gum Taste

Orange Bud -
Origin: Holland
Look: Orange hair and coil overload! Bushy.
Taste/Smell: Citrus, extreme citrus.
Effect: Chilled out. Mellow but strong somehow. Defintley not completley out of it though.
Overall: Good for recovering! Not greatly interesting but still a nice smoke at a good price. Brilliant smell.
7/10

INFO:
Orange Bud is one of the easier cannabis varieties to clone and cultivate under a variety of conditions. With good care it will produce a heavy crop of good quality. Buds are covered with long orange and deep pink hairs. Orange Bud is a wise selection for experienced and novice growers as well.

Flowering time after: 50-55 days
Height: 100-150 cm
Yield: 400 gr./m2
THC %: 8-15%

NYC Diesel -
Origin: Holland
Look: Like a very hairy Orange Bud
Smell/Taste: FRUITY AS FUCK! pungent and sweet.
Effects: Pleaseant high that doesnt nail you too much but is a fine smoke, and still quite powerful. Large Buds, 1.5 g was huge.
Overall: Quality stuff, unique and fruity smell/taste, and really smooth and happy high. Dont miss out on this.
8.5/10

INFO:
Second place winner of the High Times Cannabis Cup 2003.
Third place winner of the High Times Cannabis Cup 2001.

The N.Y.C Diesel has its roots in the Big Apple. A friend of Soma's brought the seeds over and said that it was the best pot he had ever smoked. He had dreads down to the ground so Soma believed him! This Cannabis tastes and smells like ripe, red Grapefruits. Once you touch the fresh buds, you can't smell the other strains in your room or garden. N.Y.C Diesel will leave you with an exotic taste, an exotic smell, and an exotic high.

Genetics: Mexican Sativa - Afghani
Indica: 80% Sativa: 20%
THC: 15%
Flowering Period: 10 weeks
Yield: 25 grams

Silver Haze -
Origin: Holland
Look: Crystal covered, bright green.
Smell/Taste: Strong hazey taste, stinks, in a good way!
Effetcs: Hits you like a train immediatley, very quick at coming on. After a short period is begins to wear off, but before it does it can be VERY intense! Loads of giggles and smiling all round!
Overall: BRILLIANT BRILLIANT STUFF! Skunk like this is a rare treat, and believe me its worth the wait. Anyone looking to try a literally amazing strain need to look no further.
10/10!!

INFO:
Although the cerebral high of the Sativa is preferred by many indoor growers arent too fond of this type.
Sativas get very tall take a long time to finish off and produce skimpy yields.
But by crossing the Haze the most powerful Sativa in the World to a non-dominant Indica it became possible to get the height and flowering time of the plant down to an acceptable level and still retain the unique Sativa qualities of the high.

Genetics: Skunk, Northern Lights, Haze.
Strength: A creepy high and a very powerful body feeling.
THC: 18-20%
CBD: 0.3%
CBN: 0.1%
Flowering Time: Indoors: Expect it to be ready after 11 weeks / Outdoors: In the Northern hemisphere it is ready by the beginning October while in the Southern hemisphere, it finishes by May.
Yield (Indoors): Pure quality and good quantity is yielded with an average of 450 gr/sqm.

Cheese -
Origin: Holland
Look: Fluffy on the outside, dense inside. Big nuggets, not many orange hairs.
Taste/smell- unique smell, cheese is fairly accurate but not totally! Pungent as hell!
Effect: Amazing high on this stuff, makes you wake up and you feel a bit more energetic and up for doing things. But be careful as it's extremely strong also! After this we all spent about 10 minutes trying to stop laughing because it was sore and we couldn't!
Overall: Another MUST TRY weed. If you havent had the cheese before, get it somehow! Unique and fantastic in every way.
9/10

INFO:
Cheese is a unique strain, until now, available as clone form only. Like many cannabis strains the history and origins of Cheese are somewhat confused and distorted.

Cheese originated in 1988-89 as one unique female phenotype out of packet of Sensi Seeds Skunk No. 1 grown somewhere in the Chiltern Hills. This one plant produced impressively large buds and had a very distinctive cheesy odour. It was quickly cloned and named Cheese.

Around 1995 a Cheese clone was passed on to Exodus, an alternative community living in Haz Hall on the edges of Luton. Exodus organised free parties, championed the legalisation of cannabis, grew cannabis themselves and protected each other from the law. They also started CANABIS (Campaign Against Narcotic Abuse Because of Ignorance in Society). Because of all the people that passed through the Exodus community many clones were handed out to visitors and the strain continued to grow in notoriety.

For many years Cheese has passed around an underground network of growers in the UK, helped by Exodus and others, until one clone came into the hands of the Big Buddha.

The Big Buddha realised its importance and set about crossing the clone with a suitable father. This he found in a traditional landrace, pure-bred Afghani that a friend had brought back from Afghanistan during travels in that area.

The result is a strain that takes 8 – 10 weeks to flower and is consistently a much better yielder than the original Cheese, and flavour and taste is well preserved. Appealing fruity fresh smell, uplifting effect, highly pungent hence its name!

Genetics: Skunk No. 1 (Cheese) x Afghani
Type: f1 Hybrid
Harvest Date: October/November
Flowering Period: 8-10 Weeks
THC Content: Unknown
Numero de Semillas Por Paquete: 10
Characteristics: Good yields with pungent cheesy smell.

White Russian-
White Widow x AK47
Origin: UK
Look: Spungy, a lot of orange coils.
Smell/Taste: Not a strong smell or taste but a very nice one regardless.
Effects: STRONG! 2 Js will have you stuck in a seat or corner for hours, seems to last really long aswell. Can be trippy also - buses, vague looking dogs or lamposts are not a good idea after some of this!
Overall: Fantastic stuff. What it lacked in smell/taste it more than made up for sheer strength. Really powerful, but still enjoyable.
9/10

INFO:
These seeds produce plants that are fantastic in both appearance and effect. Serious Seeds' most typically Indica strain, White Russian is a stable cross of AK-47 and White Widow (a prize winning Indica clone).

This is a plant of medium height, with consistent plants and dense, very resinous flower tops (crystals appear after about 5 weeks of flowering). With such a strong Indica background, the plants smell quite strong during both their growth and flowering period. In an independent seed comparison, in which over 150 different seed strains were grown out in a greenhouse, the White Russian came out as the strongest plant (22% THC, likely to be the strongest plant known at present!).

Winner of the overall Cannabis Cup in 1996 and of the Cup for Best Bio Grass in 1997. The plants yield very powerful buds, coated with resin.

Very strong, long lasting high, which is more cerebral than a knockout. Medicinal plant.

THC content: 22%
Flowering period: 56 - 63 days
Harvest date: 15 - 31 October
Type: Mostly Indica
Expected yield: 350 - 500 gr/m²
Special notes: Cannabis Cup winner

Jack Flash
Jack Herrer x Haze x Super Skunk
Origin: UK
Look: massive solid buds, darker green with dark orange hairs.
Smell/taste: This stuff smells so ridiculously much that you couldnt hide the smell at all, very "hazy" taste an smell to it.
Effects: Woahhhhhhhhhhh, 5 mins of slight highness are followed by a sudden smash that leaves you talking shite and laughing at pigeons, it can get very strong at times. You get very light headed, almost dizzy, and it gets a bit trippy. Wears off quite quickly though i found.
Overall: One of the best 3 strains i have sampled. This strain is ridiculous. Utterly, utterly ridiculous. If you imagine a fat weed reefer with Galaxy Gold Star instead of backy, and youll be on the right track in regard to the state your in afterwards!! If you aren't an experienced toker then don't bother, you won't be prepared for this. One of my friends that smokes fairly regularly can be quoted saying - "Now i understand how people could end up insane from weed."
10/10!

INFO:
How do you improve the best cannabis in the world? That was the big question when working on a new strain from the illustrious Jack Herer line. Since we’ve always had a particular love for Sativas, one thing Sensi breeders really wanted to change was the myth that delicious, cerebral, tropical strains were too difficult or low-yielding for the average indoor grower. Actions speak louder than words, so creating a Jack hybrid with all the growing advantages of a Skunk seemed the best way to prove our point.

Jack Herer’s sublime gene-pool has been refined, with desired traits reinforced largely through back-crossing. Over multiple generations, our favourite Herer mother was infused with a precise blend of Super Skunk and Haze, undergoing rigorous selection and testing at every stage.

Jack Flash is the triumphant outcome of that program — inbred with the bulk and vigour of her Afghani-Skunk ancestors without sacrificing any of Herer’s sumptuous Haze high. In isolating this particular balance of traits, the four common phenotypes of Jack Herer are reduced to two recurring forms in Jack Flash, representing the contrasting sides of her heritage. The Indica form is compact enough for SOG, with rapid and highly distinctive bud development. Calyxes swell to outrageous sizes, piling atop each other to form resin-saturated ropes which build into multi-point crowns on terminal buds.

The Sativa-dominant Jack Flash is astounding in every way. Growers with space for medium-to-large plants should select this phenotype as a mother,- her flavour, yield and mind-body potency are virtually unparalleled. Significant height gain in flowering, paired with the ability to completely fill out with solid, running, Skunk-Haze bud means that best results are seen when Jack Flash’s Sativa form is allowed to finish at 1m or taller.

While most members of the Sensi family rate Northern Lights#5 x Haze or Jack Herer as their all-time favourite ganja, Jack Flash is another serious contender for the title and is steadily gaining ground on the two world champion Sativas.

Flowering:
60-70 days

Height:
140-160cm

Yield:
Up to 125 gr.

Orange Crush:
Seems to be Blueberry x Romulan
Origin: Canada
Look: Its compressed so this might be hard. Bright orange hairs, bright green bud.
Smell/Taste: Not overly strong but very citrus smelling!
Effetcs: Ranges from a smooth but extra happy and funny high to a more trippy place altogether if you smoke a load of it. Heavy eyes creep gradually creep in.
Overall: Unspectacular but high quality stuff. Great mix of sativa and indica.
9/10!

INFO:
The California Orange mom is the legendary clone that sets the standard for all other California Oranges to aspire towards. And it has done so for close to two decades. It's super sweet Tang flavour and aroma is unequaled. It's vigour is amazing and it's ease of cloning will vastly be an improvement over the blueberry pollen source on both accounts. The blueberry pollen source speaks for itself and is described above. As with the Romulan mother of Romberry, This California Orange clone does very well at low (25-30 watts/foot) light levels. Both California Orange and blueberry parents are harvested between 50 and 60 days depending on taste. Most prefer the earlier end of the spectrum for the added flavour and happier high. As of May 2000, these are hot off the press and even mine are still small seedlings, therefore untested. Several have been shipped to friends for sharing, so grow reports should be surfacing over the next couple of months
the thin bit at the top/left on the pics is the Jack Flash, below is the Orange Crush.

White Rhino-
White Widow x Some sort of Indica
Origin: Bought in Ricks Cafe, Amsterdam this time. Last was from Canada.
Look: A lot like widow from what i remember
Taste/smell: It did smell quite pungent, almost like a slight diesel style smell.
Effect: Strong, hard hitting, was surprised by the lack of sleepiness though. Had a slight uplifting edge to it, along with the super stone.
Overall: Good strain, although not the beast i was hoping to find.
8/10

INFO:
White Rhino is a powerful F1 hybrid of White Widow and a curiously strong North American indica strain. White Rhino could have medicinal applications because of its high T.H.C. content. The taste of this smoke is hashy and slightly harsh, a good bong smoke. The American father of the Rhino is more indica than the White Widow father, creating a denser and somewhat shorter plant. The buzz is stoney and comes on hard.

Plant type: Best suitable for indoor growing.
Plant height: Medium- Indica/Sativa mix
Stoned or high?: Stoney yet high- Allround Buzz
THC level: Strong 15-20%
Flowering Weeks: 8/10
Yield (Sea of Green on one m2) : 350-450
Harvest Month: 9/10
Grow difficulty: Moderate

Big Buddah's Cheese
Origin: Canada
Look: Most dense bud ive seen. Small rock like buds, impossible to break without a good grinder.
Smell: Absolutley crazy. More cheese like than other versions. I had a few j's worth in my backpack, in 2 bags, and i could still smell it.
Effect: Didn't move for hours! don't expect to do anything on this weed! Despite this i was very high and happy, was talking a lot aswell but just couldnt move! Felt as if i was floating off the seat though!
Overall: Not like other cheese's ive had before, but very very good all the same. Almost an indica like feeling on top of the cheese effects.
9/10

INFO:
The Big Buddha Cheese is a very unique plant and until now was available as clone form only. Originating in the U.K, this 15 year old variety has been the leading dominant strain in the history of the underground British Indoor cannabis scene.

The Cheese is the number one strain in the U.K. and its distinctive, Old School taste is unique to the cannabis world. When you smell the Cheese you will be drawn in by an array of fruity, musky, hash /skunk undertones. People who taste the Cheese will always remember the smell. Very odorous. Cheesy, in fact.

Grown indoors and outdoors this plant can finish in very respectable times. Outdoors, expect a finish at the end of October or beginning of November.

Genetics: Afghani (male) x Cheese (female) x5
Type: Sativa/ Indica Hybrid
Indoor Flowering Time: 7-9 weeks
Outdoor Harvest Time: End of October, beginning of November
Indoor Yield: Average of 250- 400g per square metre
Outdoor Yield: 200- 450g per plant end of October, beginning of November
Sensory Experience: Very uplifting high, no ceiling, clear & long-lasting
Taste: Very appealing, fruity & fresh
Smell: Unique, pungent, old school aroma

Last year i had the delights of sampling a strain straight from Canada that my friend got.

Its name was Special Olympics a very pure racy sativa. I rate this as one of the best strains ive ever had the pleasure of trying.

Its meant to be extremely rare and id love to know the genetics or if anyone knows the seedback etc.

Not much is known but...

Special Olympics:
Origin: Canada
Look: Very solid green buds, some orange coils.
Smell/taste: Strong diesel smell, unmistakable. Strong flavour also.
Effect: Invigorating. Most motivating weed ive ever had the pleasure of trying. I hear its a pure sativa, its the strongest sativa ive ever sampled anyway!
Overall: Another "special" one.

Kilimanjaro/Soma#1
Origin: UK
Look: Big chunky buds, coated in crystals with the odd hair.
Smell/Taste: Vaguely fruity. maybe a bit spicy even, not so strong.
Effect: Making music is incredible haha, artistic juices flowing! Settles down to a bit of heavy eyes once the initial smack has worn off.
Overall: Good stuff, all-rounder.
7/10

INFO:
Kilimanjaro, formerly known as Soma #1, certainly lives up to its name.

This bud is quite large, with many light red hairs and a really fruity smell. The high is very "up" and creative, which makes it a nice daytime weed. The harvest time is a little long but the yield is worth the wait. A very nice combination of Afghanistan, S.E. Asian and Sativa. it is not for you first time growers.

This strain is best suited for more experienced growers. A very medicinal strain.

Legend's Ultimate Indica
Origin: Europe somewhere i think
Look: Highly chunky buds, darkish green. Some fan leaves here and there. Slightly sandy looking because of the thc coverage.
Taste/smell: Sweet and a bit earthy which is a rarity in weed form usually.
Effects: HEAVY couch lock. You will not do anything after smoking this for quite a while. So relaxing too.
Overall: Very heavy indica strain. Hadn't heard of this before i got it but was some smoke! Just dont make any plans..
8.5/10

INFO:
"Legends Ultimate Indica is a combination of our two favorite indicas. This F1 hybrid was mothered by an unreleased Ortega plant from California. The Ortega’s heavy indica traits shine through with tight buds and an extremely stony finish. The father, a second backcross Sweet Tooth from Spice of Life Seeds, adds the sweet and pungent flavor Breeder Steve strains are know for.

Type: Indica
Taste/Smell: Spicy, hashy, and sweet.
Shape: Two main phenotypes, one bushy and the other columnar
Height Indoor: 0.5 - 1 meter
Height Outdoor: 1 - 1.5 meters
Flower-time Indoor: 49-63 days, phenotype dependant.
Flower-time Outdoor: Late September to mid October in Northern hemisphere.

Champagne
Hashplant/Kush hybrid x Burmese
Origin: Canada
Origin: Canada
Look: Again some chunky buds. This stuff looks almost beige because of the dark green and oranges and of course the crystals. Reminds me of commercial looking indica's but a lot higher in quality. You cant see from the pic but large calyxes
Taste/Smell: Strong and sweet smelling, slightly fruity. Maybe a slight kush like smell.
Effect: Hits you quite hard, body stone evident. Meant to be 50/50 indica/sativa but felt more indica to me. Strong.
Overall: Nice stuff. The smell/taste is quite rare for me and the effects come on quickly and strong. Does come on like an indica though, but eventually levels out a bit and you can wake up!
8/10

INFO:
"Reeferman’s version of the Champagne cutting that was in vogue throughout PNW in the late 90’s. The Champagne is a Hashplant/Kush Hybrid and we crossed it lightly with the pollen from a super sweet Burmese male. This one smells of sweet sparkly champagne with dank hashy undertones. A good producer of 50% indica/50% sativa herb that is very relaxing. Makes nice hash.

Type : Indica
Yield : up to 300 gram / square meter
Height : 40-55 cm
Climate : indoor/outdoor/mountainous

AK 47 x Hashplant
Origin: Canada, previously UK.
Look: Mostly green, loads of crystal coverage. A bit like durban poison looks wise.
Taste/smell: Fairly nice sweet smell, maybe slightly piney. Not overly strong though.
Effect: Hits you quickly! Quite strong for a brief period before going into a slightly more mellow high. AK47 is probably one of the most widely available strains, always seems to be about.
Overall: A great, solid smoke thats also a bargain(if your in holland anyway) but shouldnt be too hard i'd imagine.
7.5/10

INFO: (Specific to AK, couldnt find information on the x hp hybrid)
AK-47 Seeds are easy to grow yet very strong and is therefore very popular. Ak 47 plants are Medium height and produce excellent yields quite quickly. Extremely strong odour and smoke. Quality without compromise makes AK-47 suitable for commercial grows or home use. AK-47 has a short flowering period for a sativa, producing compact, not too leafy buds that gleam with a coat of resin crystals.

Buddha's Sister
Reclining Buddha x Afghani Hawaiian
Origin: unknown
Look: Exotic looking! Not as much as the pic below though. Very bright whites, oranges and greens. Hugely resinous and sticky. Buds are quite spungy.
Taste/smell: Very, very sweet. Sugary almost.
Effect: You'll end up quite out of it, falling into things and other people along the way. Very "up" high though, everything is great after some of this!
Overall: Want to try this one again. Ive never tasted or seen such a unique strain as this. Effects it is a strong indica, but it also adds a drunk like walk.
9/10

INFO:
Previously called Soma Skunk V+, this variety was renamed Buddha's Sister to suit her tendencies and advance her appeal to Amsterdam's coffee shops. What's in a name, after all? Well, directly after this deliciously good weed acquired a more intriguing name, she began regularly selling out at the coffee shops and remains one of the best selling weeds available.

This sibling of Siddhartha is tall and lanky. In the cross with Afghani Hawaiian, she has a considerably increased yield but a less sweet taste than her other half, the Reclining Buddha. Buddha's Sister has a flavour like a tart cherry candy and the scent is similarly tart, rather than sweet. The buds have a slippery, silky feel, which means an abundance of greasy resin to make into fantastic hash. She even gives a lot of finger hash that you won't want to wash away after grooming plants.

As with all of Soma's varieties, Buddha's Sister is medicinal-quality cannabis, therapeutic for many conditions. The high is powerful, creative and cerebral in its effects.

G13

Now, i doubt this was anywhere near the real thing. The place i got from at the time was always reliable though so im hoping
it was some sort of cross strain of g13 more than likely. Back a few years ago when this appeared i hadn't even seen bud like this
before. It did look artificial but loads of strains do.

Origin: Unknown
Look: Extreme crystal mania! Completley covered, and it only got thicker as it broke apart. Looked fake, like a toy.
Taste/smell: From what i remember it was a very strong and sweet MJ smell, the smell you would immediatley associate weed with.
Effect: Closest thing to it to compare would probably be Big Buddha's Cheese, but with a powerful indica added in. Again, it was a strong and strange high (good though!)
but other, less contraversial strains have this too.
Overall: Doubt it was the real thing, but whatever it was, it was certainly a unique high, if not really any more powerful than other high strength skunk.
9/10

INFO:
"After an extremely potent plant with amazingly high levels of THC? Grow a plant from G13 #1 seeds and you will get exactly what you want!

The G13 seeds have mainly Indica genetics, allegedly originating from the US Government and are well known around the world due to their high amount of publicity in films and on TV.

Once grown, you will have a medium height plant with large resin coated buds. A great yielding plant ideal for the commercial indoor grower.

This infamous and now famous strain of Doggies Nuts was originally intended to be uncrossed, stable and pure. G13 seeds are rated as being the most potent variety ever, created with possibly the highest ever recorded levels of THC.

Variety: Mostly Sativa
Cultivated: U.S. genetics manipulated in Holland
Breeding: stabilized hybrid
Flowering: 11-14 weeks.
Yield: Indoor - 225 to 275 grams per square meter. Outdoor - 150 to 200 grams per plant.
Height: 2 to 3 meters (Indoors: Sprawling Sativa.)"

Banana Kush
OG Kush x Sensi seeds banana
Origin: Canada
Look: Almost looks like its a skunk ornament! Thick pale green buds with little bits of orange going through it. Very "Frosty"
Taste/smell: Extremley sweet smell, didn't smell exactly like banana's but a definite hint of that in there. A bit kush smelling on further inspection.
Effect: Strong head high, and a light body high too. Not crazily powerful but a nice floaty high. Short lasting if i remember correctly. Great for during the day.
Overall: A very nice weed with everyone you could want really. Pleasant high and not overly strong either.
8/10

INFO: (Think this blurb may not be of the same exact strain, but something very, very close at least)
"Here the legendary OG Kush from Los Angeles meets a wonderful variety I called sag's 60/40ies aka Banana. A fairly compact plant, 60/40 aka Banana does well indoors and out and is a good yielder of some really high quality buds. This hybrid should increase the yield of the Ogers considerably and add some more sweetness to the Kush while maintaining the potentcy and high that has made the Ogers such a highly sought after variety.

A great medicinal strain. Grow this variety and enjoy some of California's finest. This new cross should prove to be a keeper in even the pickiest growers gardens."

La Cream (hash)
Origin: North Africa apparently
Look: Light brown, breaks into powder very easily, its easy to spill it everywhere! Break it open and youll see loads of crystals too. Not that oily but it does get sticky in the middle, and your fingers become quite resinated!
Taste/smell: Not so good. Vague and average hashish taste and smell. Does smell nice while burning though.
Effects: No body stone whatsoever, just a powerful head high. Its impossible not to look stoned with this - you'll be accompanied by red eye, difficulty actually opening your eyes and constant blinking. Can also be quite trippy (champ can back me up on that one!) at times.
Overall: One of the strongest head high's i've had. Very strange "balance" as i dont think ive had anything with such a strong head stone but such a non-existant body buzz.

Ketama Gold Polm
Origin: Asia
Look: light brown but very smooth blocks, looks like a bit of wood thats been varnished with all the speckles! Hard on the outside (only just breakable without a lighter!) but on the inside it got a bit easier.
Taste/smell: Medium sort of spicy hash smell and taste. Nice but not so strong.
Effect: Same as above. Not as heavy as oily sticky stuff, but a nice smooth high. Would be great for doing day to day things with.
Overall: Decent polm, better than soap anyday but nothing amazing. It did look fantastic though.

Durban Poison -
South African Sativa X Skunk
Origin: Last 2 batches i tried were from Holland and Canada.
Look: Chunky crispy buds, completely covered in crystals. Mostly green unsurprisngly, not much orange etc.
Smell/Taste. Very strong smell! Even a small bit will smell from a distance!
Effect: Nice! Red eyes, giggles and all round stupidy then sudden sleep are involved.
Overall: Brilliant! Nice big chunky buds, with a nice thick coating of resin and a pungent smell. Again, great price for this.
9/10

INFO:
Durban Poison is a very early finishing pure sativa with a good sweet aniseed taste and strong physical high similar to Thai varieties. Nepal Temple Ball-
Origin: Nepal, Asia
Look: It was so hard not to eat all this at the time. It looked very brownie like, flat (flattened balls originally) pieces that were black to dark brown, it just looked like it would be so tasty!
Taste/smell: Like i said above, it looked tasty, and it was tasty! i ate a g or 2 of this and actually really liked the taste of it on its own, and when smoking it was just as nice (but more spicy!) There was a very sweet, almost weed like smell to it aswell as the peppery one too.
Effect: After a couple, its a nice mellow relaxing high that lasted quite a while. After another one or you, it was knockout time! I actualy fell asleep walking home one night, and walked into a wall...
Overall: One of the best sticky blacks ive ever had for look, taste and smell. Seemed to be a bit inconsistent but when in full flow a great late night smoke.

Super Maroc (hash)
Origin: Morrocco
Look: The reason im putting this in, is because its soap bar before the soap! Very cheap for large blocks of this stuff, that looks exactly the same as "high" quality soapbar. Dark on the outside, light brown on the in. Fluffs up like polm when burned.
Taste/smell: This is where you first notice the difference. This smells like proper morrocan hashish, very earthy and spicy, no horrible chemically aftertastes.
Effect: Nothing to write home about (erm...) but you could actually get stoned from the thc instead of the diesel.
Overall: I laughed upon seeing what this was like, but was pleasantly surprised. Low quality, dirt cheap commercial grade hash it is, but you can instantly tell this is a million times better than the polluted versions common in the UK.

Napalese Hash -
Origin: Nepal, Asia
Look:Hard dark brown chunks, almost black. Soft in the middle.
Smell/taste: Standard dark oily hash taste. peppery, and gives you the spicy tongue effect. Ordinary but nice!
Effects: Extreme heavy eyes and no will to move! You literally had to hold your eyes open afterwards. Good for before bed, very cheap also.
Overall: A nice peppery hash. Good for a spliff before bed. This was so cheap for a decent sized chunk, but paled in comparsion to the skunk.

Origin: India
Look: thin "bullet" of this stuff, quite dark on the outside but got very light inside. Quite soft too.
Smell/Taste: Almost like a cross between a normal spicy hash and thai weed!
Effects: Nice light and relaxing high. Almost all headbuzz really. Great for a change from all the crazy skunk.
Overall: A nice, chilled out change. Reasonable price and a good amount for your money. Perfect for days when you have to do things.

BubbleHash -
Origin: Canada
Look: Crystally looking skuff type hash, only had a gram but looks like top-notch stuff.
Smell/taste: Smelt and tasted pretty normal, i only used a small amount in a joint
Effects: Ok to start my ex-GF took a few tokes and was a seasoned toker of good grass by then and was falling all over the place saying she was drunk, eventually had to go home and lie down lol, me i smoked the rest of the doob, this was the most immense high ive ever experienced from cannabis, euphoria was great too. I followed up with a can of fosters to proceed to a spinning room. That may sound lik im a light weight but i was a massive toker back then with sky-high tolerance.
Overall: Like i say the best ive ever had if budder is stronger than this, then it might be abit too strong lol, but for money and efficiency grade A ive never had better and ive tried an immense amount of product

Amnesia Haze
Afghani Hawaiian X SouthEast Asia
Origin: Holland
Look: Slightly "spongy" buds. Quite a bright green with dark orange pointy hair creeping out. Loads of crystals.
Taste/smell: Quite sweet with a heavy haze smell under it. Nice.
Effect: Definite haze effect. Didnt hit me as hard as Silver Haze but was strong in a different way. Chilled out edge to it too, which was very nice.
Overall: Would need more to test properly, but this was defintley one of the stronger hazes for sure. Slight unique side to usual racy sativa high which was very nice indeed! Usually feel the urge for an Indica following some powerful sativa but this was an all-rounder.

Jamaican outdoor -
Origin: What do you think....
Look: Solid, hard crispy buds. Dark green and brown in places. Looks a bit shite!
Smell/taste: Very nice indeed! Smells like a slightly sweeter hash more than any skunk. Very, very earthy and reminded me a lot of manali.
Effects: A bit hard to guage as i was "neo'd" at the time of smoking it all! Seemed like a very pleasant and smooth smoke, very chilled but no heavy eyes or sleepiness at all. From what iv'e been informed by other people to have the same stuff it had trippy effects after youve got through quite a bit. Ive heard this stuff is quite common in the UK but its certainly less powerful than the usual commercial that goes about, much more interesting though.
Overall: Really quite tasty. Was cheap, and clearly commercial outdoor but it was defintley something different from all the Widows and Kush's etc. Would be a rather nice everyday smoke if i do say so good sir!

Thai -
Origin: Hmmm Thailand i guess...
Look: Again, looks like its probably outdoor. More bushy than the jamaican but with spongy dark green/brown buds. Not that dense at all. Very, very similar to the picture below.
Smell/taste: Nothing inspiring, a bit earthy and "musty" but not too strong. Quite spicy when burned.
Effects: Woah...it looked like shite but i had one spliff of this for the walk home at tea time and holy fuck! I could barely get home, or do anything, was almost like a trip in itself. Nothing unique but would think twice before smoking this in public. Anti-socialness ahoy!
Overall: Looked and smelled pretty generic and boring, nothing special about this one but it totally destroyed me briefly!

Lowryder -
Origin: Twas homegrown (not by me)
Look: Better than i expected. Very bright green and thick crispy buds, although they dont seem all that dense. Some outer leaves, and medium sized spikey buds.
Smell/taste: Taste is quite generic but smells quite nice. The signature skunk smell! Nice and sweet.
Effects: Again, better than i expected. Not much until 10 mins after smoking then you do get a reasonable if short lived high, some heavy eyes but big smiles all round. You do seem to snap out of it quite suddenly though which seemed a bit odd at first.
Overall: I thought this stuff was really quite decent, not extra strong, no amazing taste but defintley a decent smoke all round. If i was a beginner grower this would defintley be in my thoughts, or maybe the Lowryder X AK47 instead......that may be quite nice!

Ice-O-Lator hash -
Origin: Holland
Look: I don't know what this particular kind looked like, it was 30euro or more for a gram so champ invested in a large pre-rolled con of it instead.
Smell/taste: It tasted quite different to most hashes, not very spicy. It was tasty though for sure! We sat and smoked it at the statue in Dam square and im sure i saw some passers by sniffing with interest!
Effects: I wouldn't usually include this for just the odd joint, but since it was a one-off i have. And it was some joint! seemed twice as large as any other pre-rolleds purchased! Strange, strange effect, very uplifting, but not in a skunk sort of way. We were all feeling shattered and completley out of it by this point and it somehow brought us back to life!
Overall: Really would need to try more but this stuff seemed to perk us all up a lot after some heavy smoking. It made the crazy anti-stoner roads in the city centre almost safe(ish)
dunno/10

INFO:
"Iceolator hash is hashish made using an ice/water extraction process. It is based on the principle that the resin glands of the cannabis plant are heavier than water.

The cannabis plant material is usually mixed vigorously in the ice and water with a blender to separate the resin glands. These glands will sink to the bottom of the ice/water mix, and fall through a very fine screen. The water is squeezed out of the mixture and the resin glands are removed and dried.

Iceolator tends to have a very high THC content compared to traditional methods of making hash"

Kali Mist -
Origin: Hmm had it from various places in the past.
Look: Not cured very well, like most UK products such as this! Slightly bushy, but thick, darker green with quite a bit of orange coils all over the place.
Smell/taste: Quite a weak smell, but upon breaking a bit open smells quite pungent.
Effects: Seemed to take a while to peak, but once you were there was quite strong and a bit northern light-ish i thought. Took a fair while before you realised though! Really nice when it gets going, your head will outbuzz your body approximatley 72% to 28%...
Overall: Decent compared to the typical UK rubbish! A bit average in amongst all these triumphant strains of justice however! Maybe it wasnt grown so well.
7/10

INFO:
"This strain produces dense clusters of full fluffy buds, producing much higher yields than you would expect. The plant structure and the few leaves allow the light to pass all the way to lower branches, allowing bottom buds to develop fully. When planted outside early in the year this plant can grow very tall. Expect spiralling flowers with a high resin content and a delightfully spicy scent.
Kali Mist is often the choice of experts for their own stash grows. Also, women in particular seem to like this strain. Next to the sheer pleasure of smoking it, Serious Seeds have received several reports that this plant is very effective against menstrual cramps." (hahaha....)

Origin: Bought in Holland
Look: Looks like generic but good quality skunk. small thick buds, bright green with the odd orange hair. Crystally but not as much as the pic below
Smell/taste: Sweet and skunky, smells nice if nothing unusual.
Effects: From what i remember it was a bit like "widow-lite(tm)" widow without the crippling stone, quite strong but it doesn't incapacitate you.
Overall: Quite a nice weed, decent in all aspects. BUT, its made brilliant because of the price! This stuff was so cheap (probably the cheapest in the whole trip apart from thai/jamaic) but yet so good! In the UK this would be considered top quality i reckon but its dirt cheap in holland!

Blue Cheese
Blueberry x Big Buddha's Cheese
Origin: UK
Look: Big Thick buds, get stickier in the middle. Light and Dark shades of green, not much in the way of hair or orange patches. Coated heavily with crystals.
Smell/taste: Brilliant! Not as strong as normal Cheese but still very stinky and sweet smelling. Really fruity but you can still smell the distinctive cheese smell too. One of the tastier ones too i think.
Effects: Quite unique i found! Not as uplifting as cheese but a huge amount of euphoria for weed, and what seemed like a slight change in perception. Really does put you in your own wee world completley, you feel more than stoned! Heavily relaxing at the same time though, everything feels so amazingly comfy! Seems to last quite long too.
Overall: Ive been waiting for this for a long time, finally! Its not what i had imagined, but its a strange combination of both strains in a good way. Your body feels really, really relaxed but your head is somewhere else completley. Not good stuff for doing important things or driving after. Love the smell too! Makes the White Russian seem a bit ordinary in comparsion.
10/10!

INFO:
What do you get if you cross the original UK Cheese with the wonderfully fruity undertones of the Blueberry? Blue Cheese! Big Buddha has taken the UK-born Cheese to a whole new dimension and in doing so has revealed the true genius behind the Big Buddha cannabis seed company.

The Blue Cheese has been created by crossing a painstakingly selected Blueberry male with the Cheese to create the father. This lucky fellow was then introduced to the proud Big Buddha Cheese mother plant.

The high is extremely euphoric and the fruity tastes accentuate the effects dramatically.

Hawaiian Indica x Skunk No. 1
Origin: Canada
Look: Was compressed so hard to tell. Mainly dark green and brown with the odd bright orange hair.
Taste/smell: Smells quite a lot like afghan weed does, with a slighly fruity smell when you break it apart. Doesnt taste of much but the smoke smells nice and spicy.
Effect: On its own its like a quite nice mellow indica but with a happy tinge to it. After a few it becomes clear you shouldn't underestimate it.
Overall: Looked and smelled a bit like well grown homegrown commercial stuff, but was a lot nicer and after a few spliffs you end up really fucked!

Taste/Smell:A bit like durban i thought, but with a slight herb smell to it, quite sweet.
Effect: I liked this one a lot! Strong head and body stone, but with a nice almost haze like gigglely edge! Long lasting too! I smoked one of these for a started before tea one night, space cake for desert. Good combo!
Overall: A nice "happy" weed but with all the body stone of an indica. Nice indeed!

INFO:

Afghan Top
Origin: Afghanistan..
Look:Long thin buds, almost entirely orange coil hairs packed in amongst the tiny patches of dark green bud and fan leaves.
Taste/Smell:Tastes spicy like a typical afghan strain! Smells very fruity however, almost like an orange bud but with less pungentness!
Effect: Nice chilled out smoke. You get a lot for your moneys worth and it certainly is a happy smoke! I smoked a couple of grams of this early in the morning at a music festival and i almost felt refreshed!
Overall: Not spectacular but a chilled smoke all the same. If youve got stuff to do it doesn't fuck you up so much but its defintley a pleasant strain.

Caramello
Origin: N/a
Look: Typical dark brown hash on the oustide, morrocan looking. Inside its more like a light polm.
Taste/smell: Spicy and earthy. What you'd expect but a bit smoother than usual!
Effect: Very stoned. Slightly more high feeling than your typical morrocan hash, but still retains the heavily stoned effect!
Overall: Not bad. A reasonable hash but not as strong as i'd like. Tasty though!

Afghan Black
Origin: Afghanistan
Look: Very black on the outside, but a light brown, almost yellow colour when torn open. Very soft and oily, the bag its in is covered in oil, ultra sticky!
Taste/Smell:Smells really peppery like youd expect from an afghan hash. Spicy on the tongue after smoking. Quite a smooth black but still packs a punch.
Effect: Strong Indica type effects. Drowsiness, couch lock and all the rest of it.
Overall: Really oily and great taste and smell. Effect is what ive come to expect from decent hashes, although this does seem of a high quality.

Black Widow -
Black Domina x White Widow
Origin: Holland
Look: Very light green with the odd orange hair. Quite thick and bushy, mass amount of crystals.
Smell/taste: Haze all the way! If youve never had a haze youll not know what this smells like, different from most strains. Slight spicy taste to it.
Effects: Exactly how you would expect from the strains combined! Typical white widow esq effects (ie being completley baked!) but with that uplifting haze high in there too!
Overall: Its hard for champ and me to remember as this was a while ago but it was defintley a good strain that does what youd expect from it!

Sour Diesel -
Mexican Sativa x Chemo
Origin: Holland
Look: A fairly dark green strain, with musty orange patches of thick hairs poking out. Again, packed with thc.
Smell/taste: Stinks quite a fair bit! In a good sense of course. SMells lightly fruity and bit lemony(hence the sour) but defintley a bit of petrol smnell going on!
Effects: Its not quite up there with the best but its clearly a high quality strain. Quite similar to the NYC diesel in that dept. Quite potent but mellow at the same time.
Overall: A great strain, THe look and smell are better than the effects, which are strong but nothing out of this world.

Black Domina -
Northern Lights X HashPlant X Ortega X Afghani
Origin: Holland
Look: outside its a medium green but when you break it open you get patches of white, light yellow and some orange coils
Smell/taste: Was quite similar to white widow's spicy smell.
Effects: Not a public smoke. Well not if your in this country! Makes you look completley fucked and thats because you are! Youll be falling all over the place or maybe youll deicide to sit down for a while instead!
Overall: Hard hitting Indica although sometimes described as a sativa strain. Again it was some time ago so a bit on the ground!

Purple Kush -

Origin: Canada
Look:Dark Green with purple and/or orange hairs. Seems to vary a lot from different growers etc
Smell/taste: Hard to pinpoint, it is fruity but also a bit earthy aswell! Quite unique one.
Effects: Knock out strain alert. Its obvious why this is a medicinal strain!
Overall: If your dieing, get some of this first!

INFO:
"This pure indica medicinal strain comes from California. In that state's medical community she is considered an "elite clone", meaning that she is only available as a cutting. Not to worry if you are a medical merijuana patient in California - this strain can be found at various despensaries throughout the state. Purple Kush is especially popular at the SR-71 dispensary in "Oaksterdam", the section of downtown Oakland that tolerates medical marijuana providers. Smell/taste: Hmm that great peppery black smell with a hint of some kind of sweetness behind it. nice!
Effects: Almost as strong as the bubble hash i tried not so long ago, 1 joint gives you a nice floaty feeling, two will have you floored for hours! Typical blackesq "clear" stone but really strong!
Overall: Up there with the best hashes ive tried. Smokes perfectly and doubles you up!

Power Plant -
Origin: Holland
Look: Big chunky thick buds with loads of light brown/orange coils all over the place and a thick layering of resin. hmmmmm
Smell/taste: The bud smells great, but it doesnt taste of all that much. Smells nice and earthy when burned.
Effects: Smooth on the comeup, after about 15 minutes your hit with it though. Long lasting clear headed sativa high with a lot of giggles and random cheesey smiles etc. A slight indica effect creeps in after another half an hour or so that makes you feel all floaty and heavy. No heavy eyes with this one though. Very long lasting and you can almost feel it wear off straight away when it does, although you are still a bit stoned for a while after that while it tapers off.
Overall: Great uplifting strain with a slight indica tinge. Long lasting high too, good stuff!

INFO:
"PP is an extremely strong sativa developed in the late 1990s by crossbreeding many other types of South African varieties. It's parentage is widely unknown by marijuana growers to this day.

PP has enormous yield potential, which explains it's popularity among most cultivators. PP is a perfect example of the need for hybrid vigor-water is this plant's catalyst to leading it to produce it's maximum growth potential. PP also produces both indoors and out, though better results are generally obtained outdoors with pleasant growing conditions. Growing PP has become a trend among some Dutch commercial growers due to its possible high yields of extremely kind buds.

PP has a pine-like taste that's as smooth as it's after-taste. PP is well know for it's powerful social high. Hence the name Pure Power Plant. Aside from it's high yields and strong buzz, PP also produces many THC-laden crystals. A wonderful hash-making plant.

Strain: Mostly Sativa
Parentage:
Planting: Indoor /Outdoor (warm climates)
Flowering: 56-70 days / Sep-Oct
Yield: 350-400g per sq m
THC = 15-20%

La Cream Polm -
Origin: Came over from Holland, not sure if it was brought from somewhere else previously.
Look: Light brown, almost beige in colour. Very grainy looking up close. Quite a big chunky piece but the block breaks into powder when you tear a bit off. Great care has to be taken so you dont spill it everywhere! Quite sticky too.
Smell/taste: Smell is typical hashy, not as spicy or peppery as black hash but a nice but light smell. Similar ok taste when smoking, but if you eat a bit neat you get a strong earthy bud taste that almost overides the hash flavour, not sweet like skunk but spicy and musty like outdoor bud.
Effects: At first it knocks you for six, your left stumbling around dazed for a while, but once the intial peak has gone your left very relaxed and chilled. Very buzzy sort of high.
Overall: I prefer some good quality black hash over the lighter stuff, but this stuff was nice for a change. Taste and smell wise didnt offer anything that much, but was as strong a hash as any ive tried really. Strong head buzz to it and chilled out body stone. Really clean to, which i always try to make sure of when picking up resin. I have had this a few times in the past as its regularly around here, but it defintley seemed slightly nicer this time, more balanced (last time it was really strong on the head, but not at all on the body)

Great to see all these again Shizer. I don't have much to add except to say that I have had Kashmir hash a few times. From memory it is similar to templeball in many ways. It has a great taste and quite trippy high. Altogether it is well worth a try if you see it. Also one ot the best hashes I ever smoked was a Manali black. This stuff was really hard and I feared would be no good. It blew our heads off - never tried manali since as have read conflicting reports as to its quality now but I will never forget that stuff.

Cheers bigles, yea i didnt want to see all my work undone when champs died (well to be honest i cant take credit for it, it was the damn neo doves and sub coca's making me do this!) Yea i remember the kashmir being a squidgey very very black hash, but not much else! I had some manali charas once and it was kind of a medium brown colour, and it was quite hard but still had a bit of moisture (theres that many "versions" of the same hash though so i doubt it was the same as you had!)

Still cant find any info on a canadian strain called Chilli Wack Charlie or something, had a bit of a chilli taste to it if i remember correctly!

Ill be adding to this wee thread with a new one in a few days hopefully :)

Nice one man look forward to seeing the new one.

Chilli Wack Charlie - even the name sends shivers down my spine, never heard of it and its probably a good job with my ability to whitey these days! The particular manali I was talking about was so long ago you may not even have been born lol. It was my third visit to the dam around 1984 or so. I really thought we had been ripped off. It was really hard and way more expensive than the kashmir (coincidence) we had been smoking with the guy. But I should have known to trust him - it was some of the trippiest hash I've ever had.

Re done the Afghan Gold entry as this stuff is quite a bit better quality than last time, plus got some pics this time!

Afghan Gold -
Origin: i wonder..
Look: Shiny dark brown on the outside, inside is kind of a dark brown colour that looks really tasty, almost like chocolate cake. Ive been eating little bits of it! Sticky and oily as fuck and very soft and rubbery.
Smell/taste: Quite fruity but a bit liquoricey as well. Epic afghaan smell upon smoking , smells really strongly. Tastes quite nice in typical black fashion but not the strongest of tastes.
Effects: First joint is smooth but deceptive, second puts you in a daydream completley. Strong indica effects, i feel hazey even the morning after smoking this! Red eye is quick to appear too.
Overall: I havent had any black hash in a wee while so i was looking forward to getting this. Better quality than the previous time i had this, its so ridiculously sticky and smells brilliant. Unsurprising but solid effects! Good for bed time for sure

"Gold Seal" -
Origin: Afghanistan
Look: It was in 1 ounce pucks with gold seal written on one side inside a circle in gold. Very dark on the outside but it gets lighter the further you get into it. Slightly oily but not overly sticky. I got a bit of tobacco on it so it looks a bit strange in the pics!
Smell/taste: Smells quite sweet and fruity for a black hash before lighting up. Once lit its a spicy musty hash smell, though it is slightly mild.
Effects: Another indica black hash. Same effects as usual pretty much, quite a smooth smoke but it quickly has you baked.
Overall: A solid black hash. Not the best, but defintley rather tasty.

Santa Maria -
Origin: Holland
Look: Fairly big dense buds, bright green with load of little coils everywhere. Fair amount of tiny crystals.
Smell/taste: This stuff absolutley stinks the room out. Pungent fruity smell with a bit of a skunk type smell in there too. After lighting it its like being in a dutch coffeshop.
Effects: Typical dutch! Amazingly smooth, and a very happy high all round. A nice euphoria built up after a while with this stuff, and no drowsy eyes at all. Ive been sitting about with a stupid grin for the past while.
Overall: Really enjoying this stuff. Ive been smoking black for the past few weeks and this is a very nice change. Very fruity, and such a chilled but extremely high effect.

INFO
Santa Maria, a variety of marijuana stemming from the Brazilian Amazon where it has been used in a spiritual context, While Santa Maria is not being used for spiritual purposes in the Netherlands, out of respect for the plant it's name has been changed to Planck.
The distribution in Holland of the real Santa Maria clones was done by the former Highlife-magazine chief editor, Bernt Gundersen, because he was bringing his new "found" clones of a strain that is worldwide known by now... to No Mercy Supply... to Cees.
And you better be sure.... he took care of free distribution (50% of the Coffeeshops in Holland have the name Santa Maria on their price-list).
No strain in the world so famous... Santa Maria. Strange effect... no seeds available, this plant was cloned for at least 15 years, and nobody knows the genetic background.

Because this is originally an outdoor plant, Planck should be cut vertically. If you don't do that, the plant continues to grow and eventually perishes under the weight of it's own buds, which cannot be supported by the skinny stalk. By cutting vertically they grow rather widespread; therefore put only nine plants on a square meter and twelve on a square meter of rockwool. Planck doesn't need a prolonged growing phase; on rockwool no more than three days, on soil five at most. Flowering time is between eight and nine weeks, which is modest for a plant that is 2/3 Sativa and 1/3 Indica. The plant has few leaves which makes trimming and cleaning easy.

It's potency resembles that of a Shiva, while the white layer on the leaves might be expected with an Indica. On the other hand, the effect is so high and releases so much energy, that actually it could not be compared to any of those. The taste is full of flowers and fruits, while the high seems to last forever.

Being a topplant, quality is the main issue here. On the other hand, the yield, which should be somewhere between that of a White Widow and a Special, remains highly surprising.

Ah, I've always fancied the santa maria but never had the chance. Nice looking bud for sure. This was crossed with lowryder to produce LR2 which is a very nice high in my opinion.

The gold seal is how I remember it. Used to come in 1 kg blocks (I think....too long ago may have been smaller) with the seal in the middle either from pakistan or afghanistan. Always a pleasant smoke and the tase and smell are just wonderful.

edit - That was the stuff howard marks brought in if I remember his book correctly.

Lebanese -
Origin: Guessing lebanon
Look: Fairly hard pressed this stuff, you can just about break it up by hand. I ended up grating! Looks like a blonde pollen, light brown in colour.
Smell/taste: Before lighting this stuff had a slight perfume like scent, when lit its a typical light hash.
Effects: The first few times i smoked this it almost felt like a dark hash! Was pretty baked, not doing a lot but sitting around! After a few smokes though it seems a bit more like a light hash normally would. Floaty body high with added indica.
Overall: Ive been really enjoying this stuff. Less buzzy than the normal pollens and quite a bit heavier in effect. Seems to last long too, and suitably stinks out a room when smoked. Long lasting stonedness!

Origin: Thailand
Look: Mostly green but with bits of brown. Not as compacted/compressed as most outdoor import such as this. Actually quite a number of small brown crystals amongst the bud. a couple of seeds but not too many.
Smell/taste: The smell is quite strange actually. Slightly like a cleaning product or something with spicey hash undertones. Tastes like burning plants, not nice.
Effects: This surprised me. Was expecting a mellow stone and nothing more, but this hits surprisingly hard. Couch lock and a lot of staring into the tv screen for hours followed by a long sleep is what happens! The next day after waking a strong coffee is an absolute must, still feel dazed a bit!
Overall: A mixed bag. Was plesantly surprised by the strength of the effects, very old school feel to it and a heavy one at that. The taste is really quite horrible though, its ok for a couple of joints but it gets worse and worse!
