Hello! I'm planning on starting a supplementation with some herbs that are anxiolytic and motivating. Adaptogens, I presume, would be the best way to go.
I'm looking forward to Rhodiola Rosea. Let's say I have a 200mg/caps extract - how much should I use?
Are there any other herbs that work this way?

I'm stuffing myself with 900mg of Rhodiola Rosea extract every day. Just started, when should I feel any effects?

It makes me feel even lazier, so it's not what I'm looking for. ;)

I wasn't aware anti-anxiety meds could be uplifting. :S
Anxiety is an issue that must be dealt with personally. I went on a short trial of Xanax which my friend gave me a small supply of from his script. Needless to say, the Xanax did nothing for my anxiety and cognitive side effects were awful. Best thing for me so far is Sceletium (Kanna) which acts as a mild SSRI.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who noticed debilitating cognitive effects. I felt so fucking stupid! But I only used it for comedowns/sleep a few times.

Just want to say to anyone out there using or thinking of using any kind of Benzo's to help with anxiety or a come down; Be careful, be very wary. What goes up must come down, there are no short cuts.Benzo's from my experience which is pretty substantial are by far the worst of medications to find yourself addicted to. Anyone who immediately responds to this by thinking well you must be a right Dick head to have ever become addicted, I say how many addicts make addiction a life long career choice? It can happen to anyone, the best rule of thumb is to avoid insipid pharmaceuticals altogether, Eat healthy, get plenty of exercise & fresh air, learn how to meditate, perhaps try Chi Gong , Tai Chi Yoga (My own preference). I wouldn't change a thing if I were given a chance to start all over again , as I have taught myself to learn from my mistakes & turn them around to make me psychologically stronger. Also with my years of practising Yoga , meditation etc, I have learnt to use natural psychedelics in combination with meditation breathing techniques to have the most powerful & life changing experiences I never could have imagined.
As far as more natural supplements go I have thrived on Ginseng, " (Often called Ayurvedic ginseng") , Tribulus Terrestris & Avena Sativa.
Best wishes to all, Stay free , United we stand divided we fall.
