Sorry if there's already a thread on this, but I couldn't find one. He said he'd be up and running in 2 - 4 weeks, and that was ages ago.
Anyone have any inside info on this? It's a shame, because he was one of the good guys.

i will convey the message to the great beak
tri-beaked reply as follows:
"The champ one was invaded by the national anti beak associate of 3 meter high shit and had all his drono stolen. He has embarked on a noble quest to retrieve the powdered artifacts and will return soon
Regards,
The Great Beak"
in other words
he got raided and his stock all got taken for testing, he expected to have it back not so long afterwards but he is still waiting. He'll be back at somepoint, email him maybe if your wondering.

That's a bastard. I did email him a while back, but only got the automated response.
I hope he's back soon.

they are stalling, hoping that Meph becomes illegal before they are ordered by a court to return it... or hoping that somehow they can get him on some type of conspiracy charge and want to keep the evidence around.

This wouldn't surprise me either.

or, even more scary, they could be waiting till it becomes illegal to give it back...
I mean, if they KNOW and give it back the day before, that's almost an automatic search warrant.. and reallly, they know they can't legitimatly stop him, but they can make his life as difficult as possible.

To be honest, I always feared something like that this might happen and I encouraged him and others to operate privately (if they decide to still run a business) rather than through a website. But I'd like to be more optimistic and assume he probably won't get into a lot of trouble and that he's been punished enough already by losing so much potential revenue.
As I have some savings, there was a part of me that was also tempted to give this sort of thing a shot but concluded that I didn't want to risk any of the hassles he's been through, plus I'd always have had it on my concience if something had gone wrong with someone as a consequence. If someone had a bad effect, they could in theory try to sue the person who sold them the legal. I thus concluded it wasn't worth the risk but we're all different, thankfully. :)

they could try, but as soon as champ produced the 'not for consumption' sticker/disclaimer, it's over..
"you were dumb enough to ingest it, what did you expect to happen..... if you went out and bought a bottle of window cleaner and downed it, you wouldn't sue the windex company for unpleasant side effects"

I see what you're saying but would like to think they'll pretty much leave him alone because he lost I think at least £5000 worth of stash that could have produced a lot more profit than that. He hasn't actually done anything illegal as of yet so I don't think they can carry it back like that.
I'd like to think he's smart enough not to risk it even if the worst happened and it was banned. I think too that there will be at least some notice before the law was changed so he'd have enough time to get rid.

completely agreed, that 'false positive' for methamphetamine probably never happened...
I could write a book on the atrocity that is the mob-style policing that goes on in the world today... everyone thinks they need to police everyone else... well, here's a shock: people are greedy, cowardous, lazy, thoughtless bastards.. another hard to beleive fact is that police are humans and perfectly capable of breaking the laws they are supposed to uphold...
what's worse is police bias.. indevidual officers deciding for themselves what laws are important and which aren't... 'important' usually meaning that they can either brag abuot it, or count it twards hteir 'quota', and don't let any cop EVER lie to you and say they aren't *FORCED* to write a certain number of citations or collect a certain amount of revenue/cases.
seriously, our police force is so military, and they all protect each other soo heavily, especially the corrupt ones.. and they have almost 0 accountability I mean, who polices the police? the mob mentality of government 'us vs THEM' is behind every political move ever made... noone puts effort into legislation that doesn't profit them in some way, or dis-enfranchise their enemies...
our system's biggest flaw is that it both assumes it's perfect and allows for changes to be made.
for instance, my whole country runs off of the prison industrial complex... for-profit, private prisons are one of the largest industries in the USA, and as we continue forward we are doing nothing but further straying from the intent.
prisons are supposed to be a quite place to contemplate your former live's wrongdoings and find the strength to change... as well as a punishment...... Not a school for the up-and-coming criminal.. how are you supposed to emerge a better person after all the SHIT you go through in prison, learning that everyone really is corrupt and that the system doesn't do anyone any good...
in any case, what would the police do without the drug war? for sure we wouldn't need as many... and they'd actually have to go out and deal with violent criminals, theives, rapists, peadophiles, human traffickers and friends.
